Service Description

This class explores the bas-relief technique using textures and details from nature. English speakers adopted bas-relief from French (where bas means "low" and relief means "raised work"). Artists will use real plants and flowers to make an impression into a clay surface. Once the mold is ready, artists will cast the arrangement, preserving the artwork in an incredibly detailed and beautiful sculpture. This workshop is open to all levels- no experience necessary. All materials will be included! Can't wait to see you there!
